Privacy notice
Your business information deserves care.
Effective July 16, 2026. This notice explains what BlackGrant collects during early access and how it is used.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication information. Your funding record can include your role, location, business contact details, operating profile, public registration details, funding needs, and application story. Optional ownership eligibility answers are collected only when you choose to provide them.
Workspace activity
We store grants you save, application progress, and document-readiness selections so your workspace can work across sessions. If you send beta feedback, we also store your clarity rating, category, message, and the journey step you were viewing. Your account email is attached for follow-up only when you give permission. BlackGrant does not sell personal information.
How information is used
Information is used to operate your account, rank opportunity matches, prefill answers you can review, maintain application workspaces, secure the service, and improve the early-access product. Registration details help avoid repeated legal-identity questions; optional ownership answers help assess identity-focused eligibility. Feedback context never includes your application answers. BlackGrant does not ask you to store tax numbers, banking credentials, private residential addresses, passwords, or identity-document numbers in your general profile or feedback.
Service providers
BlackGrant currently relies on DigitalOcean for website hosting, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Resend for account emails. These providers process information only to deliver their services.
Retention and choices
We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security and legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.

BlackGrant helps founders discover and prepare for funding opportunities. We are not a funder, broker, legal adviser, or financial adviser.
Verify every opportunity
BlackGrant collects records from official public data and reviewed funder pages, but details can change. Always confirm eligibility, deadlines, requirements, and application links with the official funder before relying on a listing.
No funding guarantee
Matches and readiness scores are planning tools. BlackGrant does not guarantee that an application will be accepted or that funding will be awarded.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your password, and using the platform lawfully. Do not upload information you do not have permission to use.
Early-access changes
Features, listings, and availability may change as BlackGrant develops. We may suspend abusive activity or make changes needed to protect users and the service.
